Shane & Makenzie Harvey

We moved to the Klamath area to be nearer to my aging parents and with the goal to buy land and have our own farm. Now we are working at creating a modest facility to share with our friends and family.
We believe very strongly in the health and happiness of our animals who we consider part of our family. Our goal is to provide somewhere for others to come and have fun while learning  the tools needed to be a safe and confident rider.
I am fortunate to come  from a "horsey family" with many family members that are professionals in the horse industry. I have been very lucky to learn from some of the best.  I opened my own barn in my early 20's after riding for Augustine Walsh and W. Charlot Farm at their Florida location and being the assistant trainer at North Forty Farm in Connecticut. While my focus is Hunter/Jumpers, I have also shown successfully in Dressage and some 3 day events.

I have worked on both the East and West coasts as a junior and adult which has allowed me to  take private lessons and  clinic with some of the most respectful names in the country; including as Joe Fargis, Buddy Brown, Kevin Freeman, John French, Jeff Cook as well as my Aunt and Uncle Jenni and Steve McAllister who rode in the 2014 world cup finals in Lyon, France and the 2017 World Cup Finals in Omaha. I am also a Credentialed USHJA Instructor and Certified Equine Massage Therapist. I am always looking to continue my own learning and knowledge for  ways to help my horses and students become their best.

While Shane does not ride, teach or train he is truly the backbone of our facility! He keeps everything running and in good repair (including my sanity!). When he is home he is always there to support both myself and my students at home and at shows. He has become quite adept in many skills such as:  photographer/videographer/groom/bookeeper/carpenter etc.

Our Facility

We currently have 7 large paddocks with run in sheds and a newly built 8 stall center isle barn with 12x12 stalls paddock/runs off the back. The entire perimeter is fenced with no-climb fencing.

We offer a 100ft x 200 ft arena with TexStride footing groomed and watered.

We believe in a clean, well kept up user friendly facility with the horses welfare and happiness in mind and are always looking for ways to improve what we offer.
